MADE BY ME
A Short Film Showcase by Young Creatives in Warrington!
🎥Fresh Stories. New Voices. Made Right Here.
Join us for an inspiring evening of storytelling at ‘Made By Me’ – a special screening event that shines a spotlight on the creativity of young filmmakers from Warrington and the surrounding areas.
As part of this year’s Warrington Arts Festival, we’re handing the mic (and the camera) to a new generation of storytellers. All aged 16-25, these emerging creatives live, work or study locally – and they’ve got something to say.
From heartfelt documentaries to quirky animations, experimental films to music videos, this showcase is packed with short films (each under 15 minutes) that are bursting with energy, honesty, and imagination.
👀What You’ll See
Expect a little bit of everything – and maybe something you’ve never seen before!
🎬 Short films in every genre – from drama and comedy to animation, music video, and more
🎠Real stories from local voices – thoughtful, funny, bold, and beautifully personal
🎉 A celebratory vibe – this is a showcase, not a competition, so come ready to cheer them on
Whether you’re into film, curious about what young creatives are making, or just up for something different on a Tuesday night, Made By Me is a great way to support the next generation of talent and enjoy an evening full of original ideas.
📸Why Come Along?
This isn’t just about watching films – it’s about connecting with stories and perspectives you might not otherwise hear. It’s about supporting young people who are just starting to shape their creative voices, and giving them the audience they deserve.
Here’s why you’ll love it:
- See something new – fresh, thoughtful work made by filmmakers aged 16-25
- Support local talent – all participants have a real connection to Warrington
- Be part of something bigger – celebrate the creativity growing in our community
- Have a brilliant night out – bring family or friends and experience something memorable
Whether it’s someone’s very first film or the start of a lifelong creative journey, these are stories worth seeing. Come along, show your support, and enjoy a night of bold, honest, and homegrown filmmaking!
