Job Title: Business and Finance Manager

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: Grade 9 – Grade 10, £39,229.00 to £47,668.00 (dependant on experience)

Culture Warrington is seeking a Business and Finance Manager to be to be responsible for the strategic leadership, management, and development of efficient financial, HR, ICT, governance, and facility management support services.

Culture Warrington, formed in May 2012, as the lead organisation to deliver culture, heritage, arts, entertainment and events in Warrington and encompasses three venues, Pyramid, Parr Hall and Warrington Museum and Art Gallery.

It is undergoing a structural change and creating a new and larger team to take the charity forward; the Business and Finance Manager will be a critical part of the new organisation.

The successful candidate will be a member of the Management team with day-to-day contact with Culture Warrington staff, customers, and suppliers in connection with the delivery of core support services for the running of the charity.  The job holder will also liaise with professional advisers, outsourced service providers and partners.  There will be frequent contact with Trustees and funders.

Leading a small team, the job holder will ensure that there is budget planning, monitoring, and financial control in place as well as contract compliance. In addition, they will also be responsible for several administrative process including HR records, appointments, training, ICT and communication systems, site servicing and Governance of the charity.

The successful candidate will be experienced in managing budgets and financial reporting.  They will hold a qualification in accounting such as qualified Accountant or an equivalent level of work experience.  It is essential that they have a knowledge of financial management and accounting procedures, and corporate governance requirements in the charity sector.  A knowledge of HR legislation and practice, and H&S procedures would be advantageous.
