** Applications are now closed for our Young Producers programme. Please keep an eye out for future opportunities coming soon **
Culture Warrington is looking for 12 young people, aged between 16 and 21, to be Young Producers for this summer’s Warrington Arts Festival (WAF).
As a Young Producer, you will have a say about what happens at Warrington Arts Festival 2024, as well as create your own event or activity as part of the programme. Whether your interest is in music, dance, visual art, comedy, theatre, photography or film, or you are looking to gain experience in producing, festival planning or event management – we want to hear from you!
This unique opportunity will allow you to play a key part in the planning and delivery of this next phase of the festival.
You will:
- Work with WAF’s Creative team during half-term intensives and weekly planning sessions (in person and online).
- Produce your own performance, event and/or activity as part of Warrington Arts Festival.
- Gain skills and experience in producing, event planning and delivery, marketing, and project management.
- Gain valuable work experience opportunities, meet industry experts, and experience what it is like to work in the creative industries.
- Be an important part of the event delivery team during the festival.
- Get a behind-the scenes look of arts and culture organisations and venues.
- Get free tickets to selected events at Parr Hall and Pyramid.
This opportunity is open to young people who live and/or study in Warrington.
